Politcs...

are interesting in Taiwan, to say the least. Instead of TV campaigns, they have posters everywhere, and they march through the streets passing out tissue packets with their candidate on it. They also drive trucks thoughout the city, blaring announcements, or firing firecrackers, or playing drumbs. It's quite the site, but also bad for the ears. I really don't care about Taiwan's politics. Does that make me ignorant? I think it's amusing how they have fistfights in congressional meetings. Does that make me evern more ignorant?

Tempura in Taiwan is a very broad interpretation of Japanese tempura. In fact, its not the same. Its boiled fishcakes and fried tofu, with sauce on top. It was only like 90 cents tho. It wasn't that bad.
